Tuti Frutti

Ingredients

  • Water melon peels
  • 1 teaspoon red food colour
  • 1 teaspoon green food colour
  • 1 teaspoon yellow food colour
  • 1 teaspoon orange food colour
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups of water

Method

Wash and peel the water melon, separate dark green part and red part of water melon, take white part of water melon , cut it into small square pieces . Put three glasses of water in high flame , when water is boiling, add all the water melon pieces into the water ,boil it for 7-8 minutes in medium flame. Strain the water .Take a vessel, put water, add sugar and boil it in high flame , when all the sugar melt put all the pieces in sugar syrup, give one boil in full flame then put the flame medium and boil it for 10-12 minutes, put off the fire. After five minutes when it gets cool Take four bowls and put the pieces into four bowls . Add red, green, yellow, orange colours in separate bowls , mix the colours with spoon, leave it for 2=3 hours. Now take a net plate or tray, spread all the tutti- frutti and let it dry for 2 days.

Note- you can make tutti-frutti with raw papaya also . method is same.
