Taco, the Indian Way

Ingredients

  • 4 home made roti or chapatis
  • 6 medium size potatoes
  • 1 onion chopped nicely
  • 2 tablespoons capsicum chopped
  • 2 tablespoons carrots chopped
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • 1 tablespoons ginger garlic paste
  • Salt according to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • Coriander leaves chopped
  • 4 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoon harissa or chilli sauce
  • 4 teaspoon tomato katchup
  • 4 teaspoon thin bhujia or fenni
  • 4 teaspoon green chutney
  • 2 teaspoon oil for shallow fry

Note

If you have extra roties in your kitchen , don’t throw it, keep it for making tacos .

Method

Make 4 rotis or chapattis, keep it aside . Now prepare tacos tiki, take boil potatoes peal it and great it, now add chopped onions , capsicum, carrots, salt, chaat masala, green chillies, red chilli flakes, garam masala , coriander leaves, ginger garlic paste, mix all nicely. Now make triangle shape tiki. Make eight . Mix harissa in mayo , if you don’t have harissa mix chilli sauce in mayo . Now take chapatis, spread mayo paste then fold the chapati like half in shape , then spread green chutney in half portion then fold it again . Put tiki in both pockets of chapati , spread nicely from upper side. Now take a pan put 2 teaspoon oil put the tacos in pan in low flame till it become crispy then turn it and crisp it another sideThen apply tomato sauce in it and sprinkle thin bhujia or feni upon tomato sauce. Serve hot.
