Stuff Braided Bread


  • 450 gm maida or 2 1/2 cup maida
  • 1.5 teaspoon dry active yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoon salt or according to taste
  • 4 tablespoons warm milk
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup lukewarm milk

Method for making dough

Take a bowl put sugar, dry yeast, 4 tablespoons warm milk , mix well , cover it and keep it aside. Take maida put salt mix it now make a well in Center of maida put yeast solution mix add oil mix well now with the help of lukewarm milk make sticky dough now-spread some maida in platform and greased your hand , knead the dough , knead it for 7-8 minutes. After kneading the dough cover it and keep it for rest for one hour. Now prepare stuffing.

Stuffing ingredients

  • 5-6 onions chopped nicely
  • 1 capsicum red chopped
  • 1 capsicum yellow chopped
  • 1 capsicum green chopped
  • 1/2 cup boil corns
  • 2 carrots chopped
  • 2 spring onions tail chopped
  • 2 boil potatoes chopped
  • 3-4 green chillies chopped
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • Salt according to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 2 teaspoon schezwan sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 2 teaspoon mix herbs
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Fresh chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 cubes cheese greated

Take a kadai put oil add ginger garlic paste, stir add onions stir for 4-5 seconds add all the chopped vegetables stir for 4-5 minutes now add all the above masala ingredients mix well . Now add two cubes grated cheese in it , mix well . Filling is ready now , let it cool.

Method Of making braided bread

Now punch the dough and knead it for 3-4 minutes. Divide the dough into ten equal parts. Take one part roll it in oval shape with the help of spreading maida, place the stuffing in the centre vertically. Now cut thin strips on both sides of stuffing with knife. Start by folding from the top part, fold each strip alternatively to form braided shape, finally fold the bottom to cover. Place the stuff bread in greased baking tray. Coat the bread with milk. Preheat the oven at 180* C for 10 minutes. Place the tray and bake it for 30-35 minutes. Brush it with little butter/ oil. Cover the bread for 5-7 minutes. Serve hot with sauce.
