Salted Boondi


  • 1 cup besan
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 2 pinch baking soda
  • Water
  • Oil for frying


Take besan and make semi liquid batter by the help of water, beat the batter for five minutes then add salt, hot oil and baking soda, mix well. Take a kadai put oil , keep the flame medium when oil becomes hot take greater or spechula which has holes for making boondi. Keep the greater or spechula 2” up from the kadai, now pour the batter and make boondi. Make sure that batter should be lumps free and pour the boondi in the oil according to space in the oil in every this crispy boondi is ready.
