Masala bhindi


  • 250 gm bhindi
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 tomatoes ( make puree in the grinder)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dhania powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt according to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 3 tablespoons curd
  • Fresh coriander leaves


Wash the bhindi remove head and tail and cut it into two parts. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoons besan , coat the bhindi with these three ingredients nicely. Now take 2 teaspoon oil put coated bhindi in it stir and cook in low flame , cover the lid , cook for five minutes. Remove the bhindi from the kadai , add 3 teaspoon oil in kadai add 1/2 teaspoon jeera , when it crackle add chopped green chillies now put chopped onions stir till onions get brown add ginger garlic paste stir for a second now add tomato puree stir well add salt, turmeric, dhania powder, red chilli powder stir till the masala release oil then add curd stir continuously after three four seconds add one glass water , cook the gravy for three minutes now add garam masala, bhindi and cook for two three minutes add fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
