Ice cream Burfi


  • 2 cups soft bread crumb, soak it half cup of milk
  • 1 fresh coconut grated
  • 1 ¼ cup sugar
  • 4 tablespoon ghee
  • 4 tablespoon milk powder
  • 8-10 chopped cashew nuts
  • 1 sheet silver burk
  • 4-5 drops pink colour


Take sugar and coconut in the karahi, cook it in slow fire, till the sugar melts. Put soaked bread crumbs, stir for 5 minutes, add milk powder, when the mixture leaves the vessel put the gas off. Divide the mixture into two portions. Mix pink colour in one portion. Spread the white mixture in a greased tray and spread the pink mixture upon it, put silver burk and cashew nuts, after half an hour when burfi is set, cut it into shape.
