Eggless Suji Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cup suji
  • ½ cup maida
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1-½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup tutti frutti

Method

Churn suji in the grinder, mix it in one cup of milk and keep it for rest for ½ an hour. Sieve maida with baking powder and baking soda. Take ⅓ cup of milk at room temperature and mix one teaspoon lemon juice in it. Now add ½ cup oil and sugar in the suji mixture, add maida then mix lemon mix milk, add tutti-frutti mix well. Pour the batter in a greased lined baking mold. Preheat the oven at 180٥ C and bake it for 50-60 minutes.

Note

You can make the same recipe in Kadai also. First preheat the Kadai for 20 minutes at low flame, grease the Kadai and cover the lid, make it on medium-low flame.
