DATES AND WALNUT CAKE

INGREDIENTS

  • 120gm flour
  • 120gm sugar powder
  • 80gm fat
  • ¼ teaspoon of baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 60gm walnuts
  • 100gm dates
  • 1teaspoon vanilla essence
  • Few drops of yellow colour

METHOD

Sieve the flour and baking powder twice. Cream the fat and sugar till it becomes fluffy, beat the eggs separate up to the stip point, add the vanilla essence and colour then mix the egg mixture into the cream mixture not at once but thrice. Finally, add the flour and dry fruits in an alternative method, mix it properly then poured the batter in the lined tin and bake at 150° C for 90 minutes.
