Bhindi Do Pyaza


  • 250 gm bhindi
  • 1 big onion
  • 3 big tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 green chillies chopped or paste
  • 1 teaspoon dhania powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon amchur or chaat masala
  • 2 teaspoon besan
  • Salt according to taste
  • 3-4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon jeere


Wash bhindi, cut it into 1” long pieces, put besan , some salt and red chilli powder,coat it and keep it aside. Cut onion1” square pieces separate the shells of onion, cut one tomato into square pieces saparate the pulp of tomato. Now make tomato puree of remaining two tomatoes and the pulp which you separated. Take a kadai put oil and shallow fry onions shell, tomato pieces, and coated bhindi separately one by one, keep it aside, now put 1 teaspoon oil add one teaspoon jeera when it crackle add tomato puree, stir add ginger garlic paste, green chillies chopped, dhania powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala chaat powder or amchur powder, stir till all the masala mix well at least 2-3 minutes, our masala is ready put bhindi , onions , tomatoes in the masala mix well serve hot.
